Yep, they're exactly the same and will work great with the DoubleTrouble. _________________ Yah the guy from the videos. My tech guy: |

I looked into having one made last year but there wasn't enough interest to justify the cost. _________________ Yah the guy from the videos. My tech guy: |

| Just found your site tonight. I thought you stated in the FAQ that e grips aren't as good as the crank handle. I guess they are okay since you say they work great here. I'm trying to educate myself right now. E grips would work with cranks or would it eliminate the cranks? Haven't found any yet but are there any good close up pics or diagrams around here to help me see what how the DTs work? |

The e-grips will work with the cranks but why spend the extra money on extra things to maintain and keep supplied with batteries. The main reasons for the cranks are to keep the Doubletrouble field legal and to adjust the timing on the A5s. Both cranks are linked via an adjustable connecting rod. The adjustments are for timing the firing of the A5s.
You could definitely skip the cranks, hold down the egrip triggers and go but most(if not all) organized fields will not allow it. Every field I've been to loves the A5s due to the one shot per trigger pull(mechanically operated) and of course the monster amounts of paint you'll throw at their game. _________________ Yah the guy from the videos. | Okay-Now that I understand that e grips don't eliminate the cranks it all makes more sense. But doesn't turning a crank affect your accuracy? As for timing, do the cranks and linkage make the A5s fire in unison or alternately? |

To see how much the barrels move, check the video section. In experienced hands, you won't see any movement in the barrels. Specifically see the "ramp it up" video or any of the gun cam footage. Very steady, but it does take some practice. Let's face it, who is really going for one-shot-kills with these things? You're throwing a cloud of paintballs into their position.
As per field regulations, it's one shot per trigger pull and the timing is 180 degree offset. So yes, they fire alternately. _________________ Yah the guy from the videos. My tech guy: |
